Contributions
I am a frequent contributor to open-source projects, and the primary author of a number of Python packages:
- Chameleon, an HTML/XML template engine for Python.
- MacFSEvents, a thread-based interface to file system observation primitives on Mac OS X for Python.
- Panels, a portlet layout system for Plone.
Interests and experience
My technical interests include the programming languages Python and Haskell, web frameworks, scaling the web, database technology, and user interface design. I have extensive experience with web development using Python and I have used most of the major frameworks including Plone, Pyramid and Django.
I'm also interested in international development and I have lived and worked in Uganda and Kenya. Get in touch if you need a software developer with international experience.
